'Garden of Words' is a Japanese animated film which makes use of drawn and cgi animation to create high detail. The lighting and colours used create a very colourful vivid environments while keeping it very photo realistic. Scenes take place within Tokyo and especially Shinjuku Gyoen Park which is the garden. This provides a range of environments which different colours and textures.
Akira is another Japanese drawn animated film which uses a huge amount of detail. It uses a range of colours along with dark shady tones to create this run down futuristic Neo Tokyo. You get a sense of it being cyberpunk with the darkness and gritty environments.
